How Test Ads collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how PubliTest Inc., doing business as TestAds ("TestAds", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit https://testads.agency/ (the "Website"), fill in our forms or quiz, book a call with us, subscribe to our guide or newsletter, respond to our ads, or work with us as a client.

PubliTest Inc. is a business corporation incorporated under the Business Corporations Act (Québec, CQLR c S-31.1) on June 22, 2023, Québec enterprise number (NEQ) 1178853777, with its address at 5685 rue Hadley, Montréal, Québec H4E 3N1, Canada.

We handle personal information in line with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Person in Charge of the Protection of Personal Information

Our person in charge of the protection of personal information (privacy officer) is Mykyta (Nick) Yushchenko, Director. You can reach the privacy officer at nick.yushchenko@testads.agency or by mail at PubliTest Inc., Attn: Privacy Officer, 5685 rue Hadley, Montréal, Québec H4E 3N1, Canada.

3. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, company name, website and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.
  • Quiz and lead form answers: for example your industry, goals, current advertising and budget range, and any message you write to us.
  • Call booking details: the date and time you pick, the answers you give when booking and the email addresses of any guests you add.
  • Guide and newsletter sign-ups: your email address and your consent to receive our emails.
  • Client information: contract, billing and payment details, and the communications we exchange while we work together.

Information collected automatically:

  • Server logs: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page and date and time, which our web server records for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies, pixels and similar technologies, as described in section 5.

Information from third parties:

  • Advertising platforms: if you submit a lead form inside an ad (for example on Facebook, Instagram or Google), the platform passes us the details you entered. We also receive aggregated campaign reports that do not identify you.
  • Client ad accounts: when a client gives us access to its advertising accounts (for example Meta Business Manager, Google Ads or TikTok Ads Manager), we can see campaign data, audiences, and pixel or conversion data in those accounts. We process that data only on the client's behalf and on its instructions, as its service provider. The client remains responsible for the personal information of its own customers.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for the purposes below, or for other purposes that you have consented to or that the law allows:

  • To answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal and follow up with you about our services.
  • To schedule and hold calls, including sending calendar invitations and video meeting links (Google Calendar and Google Meet).
  • To provide our advertising, creative testing and growth marketing services to clients, and to manage contracts, invoices and payments.
  • To send the guide, newsletter or other marketing emails you asked for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
  • To measure and improve the Website and our own advertising campaigns.
  • To keep the Website secure and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to nick.yushchenko@testads.agency. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some services.

5. Cookies, Pixels and Advertising Technologies

The Website uses a small number of technologies that it needs in order to work, for example to submit forms, remember your language and load fonts. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.

We may also use the following advertising and measurement tools:

  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API: these measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and help us reach people who visited the Website. They may record pages viewed and actions such as a form submission or a booked call, and may send Meta a hashed (encrypted) version of contact details such as your email address so that Meta can match the action to an ad.
  • Google tag, Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics: these measure Website traffic and how our Google ads perform.

Any technology that can identify, locate or profile you is turned off by default. We turn it on only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. You can also block cookies in your browser and manage how ads are personalised in your Meta ad preferences, in Google My Ad Center or through AdChoices Canada.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only when we need to, and only with:

  • Service providers that work for us under contract and must protect the information: Google LLC (business email, calendar, video meetings and fonts), Contabo GmbH (Website hosting), Webflow, Inc. and Amazon CloudFront (delivery of some Website files), and payment processors when you pay an invoice.
  • Advertising platforms such as Meta Platforms and Google, as described in section 5, and when we run campaigns for a client in that client's own accounts.
  • Our contractors (for example media buyers, designers and video editors) who help deliver client work. They are bound by confidentiality obligations and see only the information they need.
  • Authorities and other parties when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, financing or sale of our business. In that last case the information stays covered by protections at least equal to this policy.

7. Information Stored Outside Québec

Some of our service providers and contractors keep or access personal information outside Québec and Canada, mainly in the United States and in the European Union (Germany). Before we send personal information outside Québec, we assess the privacy risks as Québec law requires and put written contractual safeguards in place. While the information is in another country, that country's courts and authorities may be able to access it.

8. How Long We Keep Information

  • Enquiries, quiz answers and booking details: up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
  • Client records, contracts and invoices: as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to.
  • Newsletter and guide subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Web server logs: up to 14 days.

When we no longer need personal information, we securely destroy it or anonymize it.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We protect personal information with measures suited to how sensitive it is, including encrypted HTTPS connections, access limited to the people who need it, strong authentication on our accounts and providers that have their own security programs. No method of sending or storing data over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep a register of confidentiality incidents. If an incident could cause serious harm, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and the people affected, as the law requires.

10. Your Rights

Subject to the law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and learn how we use and share it;
  • have inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information corrected;
  • withdraw your consent, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time;
  • ask us to stop sharing your information, to delete it, or to de-index any link to your name that is unlawful or harmful;
  • receive personal information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format (data portability);
  • be told when information about you is used to make a decision based solely on automated processing. We do not currently make decisions of that kind.

To make a request, write to nick.yushchenko@testads.agency. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We answer within 30 days, free of charge.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. Data Deletion Instructions

To have your personal information deleted, including any data we received through Facebook, Instagram or another Meta product or through one of our apps:

  • Email nick.yushchenko@testads.agency with the subject line "Data deletion request".
  • Include the name and email address you used with us and, if it applies, the Facebook or Instagram account or the app concerned.
  • Within 30 days we will delete your information from our systems, ask our service providers to delete it too, and confirm this to you by email. We will keep only the information the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

You can also remove any app connected to your Facebook account at any time under Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites.

12. Children

The Website and our services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14 years of age. If you think a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Websites

The Website may link to websites or services we do not own or control, such as social networks. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make a significant change, we will also tell you through the Website or by email.

15. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle personal information, contact our privacy officer at nick.yushchenko@testads.agency, or write to PubliTest Inc., 5685 rue Hadley, Montréal, Québec H4E 3N1, Canada.
